trying to find a way to see the sunlight

You're currently viewing version 1.0 of this site, entitled Sunshowers (again, name came from the awesome Loika ;D). The meaning behind the title is pretty obvious I guess - Naruto being Sasuke's sun, illuminating his dark path. Also, wherever Sasuke goes there it seems to be raining - but after the rain, the sun will always follow, right? So it's all good.

As for the layout iself, I do realise that at first glance, colour-wise, this layout must seem a bit off, but.. let me explain my thoughts on it first :D

After having browsed through my countless image folders in order to find an appropriate image, I've eventually come across this certain Naruto image you can see above to your right. Truth to be told, I like it a lot- especially since it shows Naruto's determination, and for me, his look holds hope.

So for the background, I chose Sasuke walking away - walking a different path than Naruto. Behind him, now more in the direction of Naruto's gaze, there should still be a silhouette of the younger Sasuke - slightly fading, but always there. Simply because.. as for me, I strongly believe Naruto will hold onto this image, he won't let Sasuke slide away.

..after all, walking different paths at the present does not mean they can't lead to the same future, no? That's what I believe with all my heart- and to emphasize this future, I also chose rather strong colours. I can't help it, despite all the angst that is their relationship, I only see a future of light for both of them. Yes why, I'm a woman of faith.

Now onto the technical stuff - all images have been coloured by yours truly, with the help of a standart brush at Adobe Photoshop CS2. I am bit too fond of manga colouring for my own good, as one can probably tell. ^^; Actually the background of the image with Sasuke was full of,.. er corpses and thus, the crappy landscape you're seeing now was 50%/50% drawn either by me, or cropped together from other random landscape images.

There were no other brushes and/or textures used. Images were taken from raw scans. Please don't redistribute anything without my permission!
