This is what most people associate with him all the time, right next to the fact that he's also the vessel of the highly feared Nine-Tailed fox, the Kyuubi.The villagers from Konoha, Naruto's hometown, didn't give a fig about the young boy - rather they talked about him behind his back, kept their children away from him and treated him really badly. Naruto was despised and shunned for a reason he did not understand - or rather, for a destiny he could not fight against, having a monster sealed inside of him.    "I'm going to surpass all the previous Hokages!! And then I'll make the village recognise my strength!!" Naruto, ch. 001 Naruto has never been the one to give up easily, and thus, over the time, it shows that despite his appearence or what other people have thought of him, Naruto is more than capable of achieving his dreams - which is, first of all, becoming Hokage. No matter how dark and hopeless the situation seemed, Naruto found his way through. Naruto has never been the brightest in the academy, nor did he know how to do a proper transformation jutsu, for instace. And still, he posesses something that is far mor admirable than any other jutsu or ability- Naruto is able to reach the hearts of other people. With just being himself, he immediately brightens the darkest corners of human mind, and without realising, saves all the people he encounters out of their personal hells. One of the people he pulled out of the dark happens to be Sasuke.
